  - Rated at 190 HP and 260 lbs of torque
- Within initial mileage range of 70-105k
- Fully inspected

All engine seals, water pump, thermostat, timing and engine belts, timing belt tensioner, Sachs clutch assembly kit, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, coolant hoses

•  ‘We install all new KYB front/rear shocks with a factory lifetime warranty.

All four 16 X 8 in. rims with 225-70-R16 rear tires and 215-55-R16 front tires.

- Oil pan ground clearance is 8 1/2"
- Protected by 1/4 in. thick steel plate.

Air-Conditioning System

•  The air conditioning system is upgraded to 134A refridgerant.

  - More affordable
- Environment-friendly

Headlights Headlights

•  The ‘82-’86 models have weak factory 55-60w headlights. We upgrade these to:

Separate lenses

90-100w light bulbs

These lights provide the van with much better visibility and are cheaper to replace.

Gauges Gauges

•  Oil pressure/temperature gauges

Alternator output gauge

Tachometer

All gauges are installed with two individual Bossch relays to prevent overloading of the ignition and dashboard light fuses.

Entertainment and Audio

•  Six - eight speakers

CD and/or MP3 radio system

DVD and/or video game system

We upgrade the alternator system from 90 amps to 140 amps to ensure that the use of all these systems will not affect the performance of the charging system and the engine systems.

Cruise Control

•  This is a feature many Vanagons and Westfalias don’t normally offer. But believe us, once you have it, you'll find you can’t do without it. Especially on those long-distance trips.

Spare Tire Carrier Spare Tire Carrier

•

It is necessary to take into consideration that with this conversion, the rims and tires are much larger than the van's originals (Again, for reasons of increased fuel economy, handling, and traction.).

Therefore it is highly recommended that you carry a spare tire of the same tire ratio as the others. Unfortunately, a larger spare will not fit into its original space at the front of the van, under the radiator.

To accommodate this situation, we have custom designed a tire carrier so that the spare never gets in your way and is easy to access, while still allowing the rear door to be opened.

Extra Gas Tank Extra Gas Tank

•  This is a very handy option for those long trips south of the border when you’re never too sure when you’ll come across the next gas station.

This 5 gallon, metal gas tank conveniently and safely fits into the back of the tire carrier

•  Considering that the engine is in the rear, we strongly recommend you protect your van with a much more durable bumper than the original factory-installed sheet metal. This seemingly small feature could save you big money in the long run in the event of an accident.

Bumper is 2 in. square and 1/4 in. thick steel.

Note, if you choose to purchase a tire carrier, you would also have to change the bumper because it also acts as a support for the carrier.

Power Steering

•  ’81-’84 vans did not come with the option of power steering. We can now install this entire system into your van.

For ’85-’91 vans that already have power steering, it also can be adapted into the new engine.
